SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
COLLECT AND REMOVAL  

ALPHACHIM is specialised in collecting solid waste produced on board the vessels.

The collection of waste is done in accordance to Annex 5 of the MARPOL convention and concerns the following items:

• Food leftover and rubbish
• Ordinary garbage
• Out of date medicine
• Carton / Metal / Glass
• Used batteries
• Neon, bulbs
• Oily rags
• Plastic device
• Wood (pallet)
• Empty cans of paint
• Out of date pyrotechnic device
  (distress rocket, flare, etc.). More(*)
• Etc.
